The Sales Support Representative role is an entry level position with a two-year training period designed to teach you the ins and outs of the equipment financing and operating capital commercial funding industry. After the initial two-year training period there are opportunities to move toward sales or move toward credit, funding, or loan processing. For some they may choose to remain in a sales support or account management role depending on career goals and skill sets.

Qualifications

  • Performance: Must be an “A” Player.

  • Education: Required bachelor’s degree from a reputable 4-year college.

  • Financial: Must have a good personal credit score.

  • Schedule: Available to work at the office from 6 AM to 3 PM PST, Monday through Friday.

  • Skills: Highly organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented.

  • Soft Skills: Positive, polished, and professional demeanor; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Drive: Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Experience: Experience in sales, loan processing, or leadership is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Outbound Calling: Make 3 hours of calls to potential customers from a contact list or database to introduce products or services.

  • Lead Qualification: Identify whether prospects fit the company’s target customer profile and qualify them for further engagement.

  • Script Execution: Use provided scripts or personalized approaches to effectively communicate the company’s value proposition and engage prospects.

  • Objection Handling: Address concerns, hesitations, or rejections in a professional and persuasive manner to maintain interest.

  • Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or product demonstrations for sales representatives or account executives to further the sales process.

  • Follow-Up: Re-engage with prospects who show interest but are not ready to commit during the initial call.

  • Database Management: Maintain accurate records of call outcomes, prospect information, and follow-up actions in CRM systems.

  • Loan Processing: Prepare loan proposals and needs lists for the sales team; coordinate with equipment vendors to obtain necessary documentation; follow up with customers and vendors to complete loan requirements.

  • Customer Service: Conduct quality control calls post-transaction to ensure customer satisfaction; update credit files and perform customer service calls.

  • Post Funding: Maintain relationships with existing customers and vendors; update customer information; facilitate communication regarding upcoming finance projects; manage credit files for new finance opportunities.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $60,000.00 annually during the 6-month probationary period.

  • Bonus & Commissions: Eligible for performance-based bonuses and commissions after successful completion of training.

  • Earning Potential:

    • Year 1: $60,000.00–$70,000.00 (base salary + bonuses)

    • Year 2: $70,000.00–$80,000.00 (base salary + bonuses)

Once you’ve developed two years of experience on the team mastering the sales support role and building a strong foundation in equipment financing, you’ll have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as Credit, Funding, or Sales.

  • Accelerated Path: If you have prior experience in the equipment finance industry, you may be able to leverage your expertise immediately, potentially bypassing the two-year training period for advanced positions.

  • High Performance: For those performing at a high level, these paths lead to increased responsibility and the potential to earn six figures or more.

Long-Term Earning Potential

  • Loan Processing, Credit, and Funding: $80,000.00–$150,000.00+ (Base salary + bonuses)

  • Sales Representatives: $80,000.00–$250,000.00+ (Base salary + commissions)

  • Top Producing Sales Representatives: $250,000.00–$750,000.00+ (Commission-only structure)
